PSIA seeks to promote behavioral change through highly integrated information - education - communication programs that are designed to educate women and men and motivate them to either refrain from risk - taking behavior or to use reliable, modern methods of contraception to prevent unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections within the framework of the following areas:

-Prevention of HIV/AIDS and other STIs
-Maternal - Child Health
